Most people respond with excitement and fascination at the very mention of the two words “Mirror Maze”. Toes curl in anticipation. It conjures up in different minds such a wide range of possibilities, some of which have never yet been created.
No one is fully prepared for the awesome experience of physically entering a world-class mirror maze; they speak of it exceeding their expectations, of its compulsive appeal, of their delight just to keep playing with it, of having no desire to leave.The mirror maze experience is firmly based on visual deception. Often the mirror maze seems six times larger than it really is; many of the dead ends in such a maze are not physical, but impossible illusions of pathways as seen through the vertical mirrors. The illusion is total, because your entire vertical human body is reflected in a mirror that is taller and wider than you are, and reaches down to the floor. Lighting levels add to the deception, so you cannot easily see which archway contains a mirror, and which 
archway is .... just an archway! Even the modular scale of the structure can be super-human, with mirrors spaced so far apart that you cannot touch both sides at once, resulting in a spectacular sense of disorientation.
